To the moon, Alice!
How do you describe witnessing a rocket heading to the moon?
My take: “awe-inspiring.”
It was incredible witnessing the rocket — with its flame and smoke trail clearly vislble — ascend toward space from the edge of Island Beach State Park shortly before 11:30 p.m. Friday.
The view lasted for less than 30 seconds, but chills ran up and down by body that entire time.
“We’re going back to the moon!”
Jersey Shore Hurricane News contributor Pete Deb Boucher captured the above image over Wildwood Crest at exactly 11:27 p.m. Friday.
