To help avoid gerrymandering, share your ideas for redistricting Philadelphia

Philadelphia City Council will host a public meeting later this month to discuss the remapping of the councilmanic district.

That one meeting will be your only shot to make youreslf heard. Unless, you stop by WHYY Monday night, when we’ll work with the Penn Project for Civic Engagement, the Daily News Editorial Board and Azavea to take your suggestions for district lines.

 

And this isn’t a feel-good event. The best ideas will be presented to Council and stand to win $100.
