A former transportation security officer at Philadelphia International Airport was sentenced to three years probation for stealing five laptops and a Sony PlayStation game from the luggage of passengers.
The Philadelphia Business Journal details the case of Troy Davis, who was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine for the thefts, which happened as he screened uggage of flights scheduled to depart on March 31, 2009, and an earlier date. Davis pleaded guilty to the thefts later that year.
