Updated: Teens due in court for flashmob attacks

Update: Three teens pleaded guilty yesterday to the July 29 attack. An 11-year-old will be on house arrest, a 16-year-old has been sent to correction school and a 17-year-old will go to a state detention facility, according to CBS3.

Original report: Six teenagers are due in court Thursday for their alleged involvement in two separate flashmob attacks that took place earlier this summer.

Three teens face charges for the July 29 attack on a man at Fourth and Walnut streets, and the other three are accused in a Center City attack, as KYW reports.

Later in the day, Deputy Mayor of Safety Everette Gillison will hold a town hall at Vare Rec Center  at 26th and Moore streets where city officials will answer questions about the attacks and the new curfew regulations.
