Sussex approves plan to boost business
Incentive plan for new or current businesses approved by Sussex County Council.
The main incentive would be a graduated abatement on county property taxes for new construction or renovations for up to ten years. The maximum incentive would be $800 for every job added. The incentives will be offered on a case-by-case basis for businesses adding or creating at least 10 jobs. The plan is designed to boost new economic development in the county.
