South Philly residents meet to discuss how to make streets bike-friendly

How do you make streets bike-friendly when there isn’t actually space to incorporate bike lanes?

That’s up to South Philly residents, the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and the Community Design Collaborative to determine. They’ll meet Nov. 30 to figure out ways to use the grant from the CDC to change the traffic environment in parts of South Philly.

PlanPhilly reports participants will look at ways to slow down traffic throughout the area, specifically on 10th, 13 and 15th streets.
