Slippery morning commute likely at the Jersey Shore tomorrow

A coastal low pressure system will track along the coast and deliver a period of light snow to the Jersey Shore Thursday morning, forecasters say.

Snow will develop late tonight and taper off late tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service says the highest amounts will be in southern Shore areas, where the current forecast calls for two to three inches in Cape May and Atlantic counties.

Further to the north, forecasters expect generally one to two inches in Ocean County and less than an inch in Monmouth County.
