SEPTA’s busiest bus and trolley routes

If you ride SEPTA’s 23 bus or 34 trolley, you probably know they’re two of the transit authority’s busiest routes.

But for those looking for a little context to their daily commute, the Mayor’s Office of Transportation & Utilities has put together two infographics showing the busiest bus and trolley routes in the networks based on SEPTA”s FY12 ridership stats.

The 23 bus runs between Broad Street and Oregon Avenue and Chestnut Hill, making 6.9 million annual trips. The 34 trolley meets up with the El at 13th and Market streets and runs to 61st Street and Baltimore Avenue, making 5.74 million annual trips.
