SEPTA suspends service on Trenton and Chestnut Hill West lines

    Update: Service has been restored to the Regional Rail lines, but delays of up to an hour can be expected.

    Original report: Get your alternate travel plans ready. SEPTA has suspended service on its Trenton and Chestnut Hill West lines due to power problems.

    Trouble began not long after 7 a.m., and service to both lines has since been halted. You can follow SEPTA on Twitter to stay informed, or use one of the mobile alert systems or schedules to check on your route.

    Amtrak is also experiencing delays along the Northeast corridor.
