Seals on the beach
Three seals have been seen on Delaware beaches over the past few weeks.
Executive Director of the Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation Institute Suzanne Thurman says a harbor seal was seen on the beach near South Bethany Beach on Wednesday. Another seal was seen at Cape Henlopen State Park on Monday. Last Friday, a female harp seal was spotted in Dewey Beach. Thurman says that seal looked healthy but was later found dead on a beach near Rehoboth Bay.
