School District to investigate woman who organized pro-Ackerman rallies

Pamela Williams has been hard at work over the last week organizing rallies to support School District of Philadelphia Superintendent Arlene Ackerman.

The District is now looking into just how hard Williams has been working, because the school police officer has been out on disability since January.

The Daily News reports an anonymous district source confirms the investigation, which will include footage of Williams rallying inside 440 N. Broad St. last week.

Williams has been out of work since January stemming from a shoulder injury she sustained when she was assaulted by a Daroff Elementary student. She says a doctor has told her she can’t work until the shoulder heals. The district hasn’t commented.
