School buses burned, vandalized at Woodhaven Road depot
Authorities are investigating the vandalism of more than a dozen buses at the depot on the 3800-block of Woodhaven Road. The buses were discovered yesterday with smashed windows as crews were investigating a weekend crime in which five buses were burned.
Five fires were set over the weekend, with two buses set on fire and three others damaged by flames. Yesterday, buses were found with smashed windows.
The School District of Philadelphia says there is security at the depot and it will continue.
