Each month Mt. Airy’s local businesses stay open late, retailers and restaurants offer specials, and guest vendors and performers create fun festivities for Final-ly Friday in Mt. Airy.
The monthly evening events are meant to connect local artists, performers and retailers with the neighborhood in a laid back yet vibrant setting.
Jamie Shanker of Mt. Airy USA said a lot of people go away on weekends, but for those who stay around the neighborhood it is a great way to spend their Friday night.
“It’s important to make sure that people know Mt. Airy is a great place to live,” she said.
On August 28 Mt. Airy will host their last Final-ly Friday of the year with a Back to School theme.
