Residents near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst may hear “booms” and feel “rumbles” through Sunday.

Marines from the 3rd Battalion and 6th Engineer Support Battalion are conducting live artillery and controlled demolitions training at the installation during the daytime and evening hours, according to a military press release.

“We’re ready to ROCK if you’re ready to ROLL!” the release says.

Area residents may experience ground shaking and considerable noise emanating from the base’s ranges.
