Pomeroy Trail officially opened
State leaders will be in Newark today for the official opening of a new trail through Newark into White Clay Creek State Park. The Pomeroy and Newark Rail Trail is a two mile path that connects the town’s commercial area along Main Street, the Newark Shopping Center and the University of Delaware’s Laird Campus. The path follows the old Pomeroy and Newark Rail Line into White Clay Creek State Park.
