Police make a dent in central Delaware drug trade with six arrests

Delaware State Police have seized weapons, a military-issued rocket launcher and more than 50 grams of heroin following a two-month investigation.

Investigators carried out a total of four search warrants in Kent County during the past few days, targeting homes and a business in Camden and Dover.  Authorities from local jurisdictions assisted State Police in the investigation.  Charged with drug offenses are:  34-year-old Akim Lewis of Camden, 36-year-old Tracy MacDonald of Camden, 48-year-old Gary Talbert of Dover, 30-year-old Brian Crossman of Smyrna, 41-year-old Keith Perkins of Dover, and 25-year-old Michael Bethard of Smyrna.  Authorities described the operation as a large-scale heroin distribution ring.
