Police know the victim, but haven’t named a suspect in the community center shooting Monday afternoon.

30-year-old Jamar Kilgoe has been identified as the man shot and killed inside the Rosehill Community Center in New Castle. Kilgoe, who lived in the 900 block of E. 24th St. in Wilmington, was found in the recording studio on the center’s lower level.

Investigators have released little suspect information, saying the shooter was wearing a light colored sweat shirt with dark pants and dark shoes.

The Rosehill Community Center serves residents of all ages, with programs for both senior citizens and preschool age children.
