The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, in partnership with Brandywine Realty Trust and Independence Blue Cross, is creating a temporary garden of vegetables, herbs, grains and flowers to showcase the work of City Harvest, which provides fresh produce for underserved residents. Six of the city’s finest chefs will create special dishes using the garden’s bounty and donate proceeds back to City Harvest.
The PHS Pops Up garden features an exhibit of sustainable gardening originally created for the 2011 Philadelphia International Flower Show by Temple University Ambler staff and students.
