Philly police say undressed pedestrian struck, killed by two vehicles

Philadelphia police say a man running around in his underwear and singing loudly has been struck and killed by two vehicles.

The incident happened about 8:15 p.m. Monday on the Boulevard at Harbison Avenue, where the man was seen running around waving his arms in the air.

Police say the man was hit by a Chevy Tahoe and thrown into the air. When he landed, he was hit by another vehicle, a Volkswagen.

The man was taken to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital where he died hours later.

Police say the drivers of both vehicles stopped and were cooperating.

Police have yet to release the man’s name or say whether they’ve figured out why he was acting so strangely.

Police were also reviewing surveillance video to see whether any other vehicles hit the man.
