Philadelphia’s Spraga makes Esquire’s best Philadelphia list

Philadelphia’s Sbraga has been selected as one of the nation’s best restaurants by Esquire.

The magazine was particularly taken by the value at the 440 South Broad Street restaurant, which serves a four course menu for just $49.

Chef Kevin Spraga told Esquire that he works from the desired price, backward to the menu. Most places, he says, devise a dish or menu and then price it accordingly.
