The sixth annual GayFest! gets under way on Friday. GayFest! is Philadelphia’s only LGBT theatre festival.

NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller is joined for a preview by Rich Rubin, Producing Artistic Director for Quince Productions, and director of two plays being shown at GayFest!  Rubin says there are a wide arrange of performances in addition to plays, “it started as four main stage plays, now there are all kinds of other special things surrounding those main stage plays”.  The show features ‘pay what you can’ previews because according to Rubin, “its always been our philosophy that we do not want to keep anybody out of a show because they can’t afford it”.
