PennDOT evicts post-Occupy homeless encampment in Port Richmond

As the city geared up to evict Occupy Philly from Dilworth Plaza, several homeless people moved onward, setting up Camp Liberty in Port Richmond, first on the Conrail train tracks, then under I-95.

City Paper has been following Camp Liberty, and now reports PennDOT has made good on its promise to evict the encampment from the property. Th eviction sent members in different directions: some to the Friends Center in Center City, other to D.C., where Occupy Philly is taking a bus trip to this week.
