Pedestrian hit in Dover
Police in Dover are investigating an accident near Delaware State University involving a pedestrian. It happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday when a pedestrian was walking across Rt. 13 outside of the crosswalk near the entrance to DSU. The man jumped from the center lane to the far left lane on Rt. 13 to avoid being hit by a vehicle, but he jumped into the path of a second vehicle. The man is in critical but stable condition with head injuries and several broken bones.
