Palin offers flowers as apology for daughter’s run-in with photographer

You’re 10. There’s a heat wave. And you’re accompanying your mom on a bus tour. Sounds like barrels of fun.

That’s probably what Piper Palin was thinking when she did a little shoving maneuver to a photographer during mom Sarah Palin’s visit to Philadelphia earlier this week.

While in Jersey City, Palin told reporters her daughter was sorry for “pushing kinda” one of the photographers. Fox29 happened to be filming when Piper stuck herself between her mother and a reporter and ever so subtly began an angled walk to keep the two apart. She then pushed away a microphone as the mother-daughter duo climbed back into their SUV, remembering her manners and saying thank you to the reporter with hopes of ending the media barrage.

Palin smoothed things over yesterday with flowers and an apology.
