Pa. school placed on lockdown after gun report; toy gun found

Authorities say a suburban Philadelphia school was briefly placed on lockdown after a gun was reported, but the gun turned out to be a toy.

Officials in Delaware County said police were called to Chester High School at about 11 a.m. Tuesday after a student reported another student with a gun.

Police said a juvenile was taken into custody after a toy gun was found. The high school was placed under lockdown, but the lockdown was lifted about a half-hour later.
