Other side of the story: Parking Enforcement Officers don’t have it easy

Here’s another story about the Philadelphia Parking Authority. Except it’s a little different than the others.

While the Daily News runs a series of columns of the wrong-doing PPA, columnist Stu Bykofsky thought it might be time to find someone there who’s not crushing spirits and writing tickets for fun.

Enter Ken Giusini, Felicia Lovelace, Annice Wojcik and Jimmy Fuscellaro. They told Bykofsky about the physical abuse they’ve taken from the public while out on their routes throughout the city. Punches have been thrown, bricks tossed and bullets threatened.

When you look at it that way, maybe it is a little fun to write someone a ticket.
