On ‘Radio Times:’ Former FBI special agent on President Trump’s affiliation with Russia

The past two weeks of investigations into the Trump/Russia probe have caused much confusion — between the bizarre activity of House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Devin Nunes, as well as former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s request for immunity. Nonetheless, the investigations remain underway in determining whether the Trump team has actively colluded with Russians who interfered with the 2016 election.
On Wednesday’s Radio Times, Marty Moss-Coane was joined by former FBI special agent, Clint Watts, who gave damning testimony last week, in which he asked investigators to “follow the trail of dead Russians.”
Marty asked Watts if he perceived any indicators that President Trump has actively been in collusion with the Russian government. Watts responded saying that Trump has continuously used Russian ‘active measures’ (a form of propaganda) adding, “Why smear our country? Why use Russia as an arm against an American citizen?”… referring to Hillary Clinton.
Earlier in the hour, Marty was joined by journalist and anti-Putin activist, Masha Gessen, who warned citizens, the media, and politicians to stay away from jumping to conclusions or participating in conspiratorial thinking when it comes to Trump’s affiliation with Russia.
