NWS: Severe thunderstorm in portion of Ocean County

A severe thunderstorm is tracking through a portion of the Jersey Shore this afternoon.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northern Ocean County and east-central Burlington County until 3 p.m.
According to the bulletin, the storm was located about 20 miles west of Toms River and moving northeast at 25 mph at 2:10 p.m. On this track, the storm will also impact southern coastal Monmouth County.
The warning advises of 60 miles per hour wind gusts, penny size hail, and torrential rain.
A separate marine warning advises nearby boats to seek harbor as the storm passes.
Elsewhere at the Jersey Shore, the radar is quiet as of shortly before 2:30 p.m.
