Nutter withdraws portions of challenge to Street’s candidacy

Update: WHYY’s Dave Davies tells us the judge has tossed Nutter’s challenge to Street’s residency. So unless someone in Nutter’s camp appeals, you’ll find Milton’s name (in the top spot) on the ballot. Dave will have more for us later.

Original report: It appears Michael Nutter has withdrawn some of his challenges to mayoral opponent Milton Street. This after challenge hearings got underway Friday.

Nutter, as NewsWorks partner Philadelphia Weekly reports, is still challenging Street’s residency qualifications, since he spent the last few years in an out-of-state prison.

Street, meanwhile, is just happy to get his name out there.
