Who spoke at your college graduation?

A star studded lineup that includes the likes of actor and comedian Steve Carell and the best-selling author of “Moneyball” is set to take the stage at commencement ceremonies across the Garden State.

At Princeton University, two well-known figures will address graduating students.

In December, Princeton University announced it selected author and journalist Michael Lewis to speak at the University’s 2012 Baccalaureate ceremony on Sunday, June 3.

Lewis, who is a 1982 Princeton graduate, was selected by Princeton President Shirley M. Tilghman after meeting with leaders of the school’s senior class. 

The 2012 Baccalaureate ceremony is an end-of-year interfaith service the university says is one of its oldest traditions.

Meanwhile, actor and comedian Steve Carell is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at Princeton’s Class Day Ceremony Monday, June 4.

According to a university press release, Class Day co-chairs wrote an email to seniors that read: “Throughout our high school and college careers, Mr. Carrell’s work in television and film has provided countless moments of laughter and hilarious social commentary…”

At Rutgers-Camden, The Honorable Theodore A. McKee, Chief Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, is scheduled to address students of the School of Law on May 16.

Newark Mayor Cory Booker is set to take the commencement stage at Fairleigh Dickinson University on May 15.
