Coast Guard rescued 4 from capsized boat near Sea Bright, NJ on Sunday

The Coast Guard has rescued four people from a capsized boat in central New Jersey.

The 20-foot boat sank Sunday afternoon near the entrance to the Shrewsbury River, just off Sea Bright.

Officials say the operator of the boat called the Coast Guard to say it was taking on water.

A rescue crew from Coast Guard Station Sandy Hook arrived on the scene as the boat capsized, sending the four people aboard into the water.
