NextFab ‘gym for innovators’ adding 2nd site
NextFab Studio is a West Philly high-tech workshop for artists, designers, inventors and “makers.” The “gym for innovators” is adding a second site in Philadelphia on Washington Avenue, once a center of manufacturing that has fallen on hard times.
The Naked Philly blog has more info about the move, which also promises a cafe along with NextFab’s high-tech workspaces.
The maker-space was profiled in 2010 in WHYY’s Friday Arts show by Michael O’Reilly, and more recently, founder and visionary Evan Malone was a guest of Marty Moss-Coane on Radio Times.
