New health journal will look at possible video game benefits

    Study after study has been done to look at the possible benefits of health-driven gaming systems like Wii-Fit and condition-monitoring apps.

    Soon you can find them in a convenient package: a journal focused on healthy video games. The peer-reviewed academic journal will debut this fall.

     

    Health & Science reporter Carolyn Beeler spoke with researchers and programmers about the potential benefits of such games and the need for a journal to meet the demand of those after the latest studies.
