New dock dedicated in Slaughter Beach

Boaters get new access to the water in Slaughter Beach.
Governor Markell and other state leaders will be on hand this morning to cut the ribbon on the new Cedar Creek Boating Access Area near Lighthouse Road in Slaughter Beach.  The new boat ramp, described by state officials as “spacious”, offers access to Cedar Creek, Mispillion Harbor and the Delaware Bay and beyond.  The $3.2 million project was funded by the federal and state governments.
