National search for new head of Atlantic City Tourism District
There’s a job opening in New Jersey. You, yes, you could be the new head of Atlantic City’s Tourism District. Gov. Chris Christie’s office has announced the state will conduct a national search to find just the right person.
Senate President Stephen Sweeney has said the right person might be someone who doesn’t necessarily have vast knowledge of the area, the Press of Atlantic City reports. Meaning those three summers you spent tutoring students for the SATs might be the only qualification you need.
Expect some stiff competition, though. Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson’s chief of staff, Howard Kyle, has already been interviewed and is reportedly on the short list. Get those applications in now.
