Morning, folks

It’s the calm before the storm this morning – a little bit of sunshine before the snowfall starts.

A winter storm advisory is in effect for the Delaware Valley until 10 a.m. tomorrow, and we may be looking at up to eight inches here in Philly.

Today at 10:30 a.m. the state Department of Transportation will hold a news briefing to discuss PennDOT’s plans for responding to the impending snow – we’ll let you know what’s what for Philly’s prep after the conference.

The New York airports are hoping to be better prepared this time around, too.
