Moderated schedule for SEPTA’s Norristown line

Update: Service has resumed on the Norristown line with a moderated schedule due to what SEPTA calls “significant” overhead wire damage.

SEPTA’s having a rough morning. And if you use the Regional Rail to get to work, so are you. Problems on the Norristown, Chestnut Hill West and Trenton lines resulted in delays and suspensions this morning.

The Norristown Line (R6) doesn’t look like it’ll resume service anytime soon. Downed power lines have suspended the rail. SEPTA’s keeping track of the progess on Twitter.
