Made in Dagenham

Based on a true story, Made in Dagenham portrays a decisive moment in 1960s England, when the fight for equal rights and pay was led by ordinary working-class women with one foot in the kitchen and one foot on the factory floor.  In the face of angry husbands, condescending bosses, and a belligerent local community, the women of Dagenham stood together and pushed boundaries for the rights and expectations of women everywhere.  Movies at Midway, May 27th, 7 p.m.
