Master Plan for the Central Delaware Adopted by Planning Commission

The Philadelphia City Planning Commission (PCPC) adopted the Master Plan for the Central Delaware during its meeting Tuesday afternoon.

As previously reported by PlanPhilly, there was talk that only the central part of the Master Plan area would be adopted by PCPC, while northern or southern portions would have been merely accepted. And then there was the question of what the difference is, practically or semantically, between a plan being “accepted” or “adopted” by the Planning Commission.

Stay tuned for Kellie Patrick Gates’ full report from today’s PCPC meeting on PlanPhilly.
