Market Street loses a lane to trees, childhood weight gain linked to high blood pressure

    Good morning, Feeders!

It’s World Mental Health Day, and if you’re a Philadelphia sports fan, you might not be doing so well right now. Jen Howard and Maiken Scott will check in with some local fans to see how they’re coping with the weekend losses.

Lizz Fiedler is going to Overbrook where a young mother of four was shot over the weekend. Lizz will talk to neighbors about the violent crime, then she’s switching gears to bring us more details of the Market Street traffic changes. One lane in Center City is closed to traffic as the city tests out some greenery to make the street more pedestrian-friendly.

Peter Crimmins will have the story for us on the new ballet building on North Broad Street as he works on some other features for later in the week.
