March sheriff sale properties [map]

As PlanPhilly reported late last year, the Nutter administration has mobilized to put more tax delinquent properties to sheriff sale to collect on a variety of taxes owed to the city. That’s progress after the number of properties auctioned for back taxes bottomed out during the early years of the Nutter administration. Tax sales planned for March show more than 600 properties slated for auction, which is the administration’s target for monthly offerings.

To make matters easier for concerned neighbors or prospective buyers Councilman Bobby Henon’s office put together this handy map of tax sale properties being offered at Sheriff Sale in March:

Tax sales will be March 18-20 at First District Plaza, 3801 Market Street. If you’re interested in any of the properties being offered be sure to get further details from the Sheriff’s Office (if you can) by calling (215) 686-3530.
