Mainland student’s funeral rescheduled after hurricane
Hurricane Irene didn’t just interrupt wedding plans.
The heavy rains and forceful winds also postponed the funeral of Casey Brenner, one of four Mainland Regional High School teens killed in a Garden State Parkway crash.
Brenner and three fellow football players died in the crash on their way back from practice Saturday, Aug. 20. The Press of Atlantic City reports Brenner’s services will be held Tuesday and was originally scheduled for Saturday.
