Please take a moment to click here, and sign a letter to City Council members asking them to support the proposed budget for the new Department of Parks and Recreation.   If you’re able, add a few sentences or more about why parks and recreation are important to you, your family and friends.

The budget for parks and recreation has been cut to the bone.  This budget will begin to address recent cuts and will enable Commissioner DiBerardinis to leverage foundation, corporate, institutional, state and federal funding.  To learn more, click here.

This is an historic time for Philadelphia’s parks and recreation.  Please join your fellow citizens.  Tell our elected officials why our parks and recreation matter to the children and adults, businesses and visitors of Philadelphia and how they impact our neighborhoods, our city, and our region.

Click here to send a letter to members of City Council.

Please ask your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors to go to www.philaparks.org and sign a letter.  It only takes a moment!

Thank you for all that you do,
