Cave Of Forgotten Dreams, follows an exclusive expedition into the nearly inaccessible Chauvet Cave in France, home to the most ancient visual art known to have been created by man. Cave of Forgotten Dreams provides a unique glimpse of pristine artwork dating back to human hands over 30,000 years ago, almost twice as old as any previous discovery.  Theatre N at Nemours, June 3rd, 8 p.m., June 4th, 2 p.m., and June 5th, 5 p.m.

Peter Pan by Delaware Ballet

Join in the adventure as Wendy, John, and Michael are visited by Peter Pan and Tinkerbell in their London home. With a little faith, trust, and of course pixie dust, they fly away to the island of Neverland where they encounter the evil Captain Hook and his crew. Be swept away into a wonderful fairytale with Mermaids, Indians and a persistent crocodile and allow yourself to become a child once again.  Schwartz Center for the Arts, June 5th, 3 p.m.

 

 

Opera Pops…And Sizzles!

Delaware’s only professional opera company – and proponent of “Opera for Everyone” – OperaDelaware brings its talents to the beach. Accompanied by OperaDelaware Music Director Jeffrey Miller, four singers bring to life the greatest moments in opera – from such well-known shows as CARMEN, LA BOHEME, and THE MERRY WIDOW and more – in an entertaining series of arias, duets and ensemble numbers.  Clear Space Theater, June 7th and 8th, 7 p.m.
