Traditional Melodies, Modern Rhythms and new compositions are synthesized by this five piece band, all of whom are students of Traditional Music and Dance at the University of Limerick. All five students are rooted firmly within the tradition and are well known and respected within Irish music circles. Their recently released CD includes many of their own compositions and owes its distinctive sound to the collaborative arrangements by all members. Timothy’s Riverfront Grill and Hall, July 31st, 7 p.m.

A pumpkin coach, Prince Charming, a glass slipper and a dream come true are woven together by the magic of a Fairy Godmother in this enchanting musical. When Cinderella’s stepsisters try to keep Cinderella from attending the ball, the Fairy Godmother enlists the help of the Mice and the Pumpkins and is able to transform Cinderella just in time for the big event. Experience the unique twist the Missoula Children’s Theatre puts on this classic story.  The Grand, August 5th, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

 

Chicago – The Musical

Clear Space Theatre performs one of the longest-running shows on Broadway!  CHICAGO is a tale of the Roaring Twenties complete with love, greed, corruption, murder and manipulation – plus one of the best scores ever written for a musical.  $10 per person. Kids 18 and under are free.  Adult Content; Parental Discretion Advised.  The Freeman Stage at Bayside, July 29th and 30th, 7 p.m.

 

Third Annual Seafood & Arts Festival

Save the date for a fun day with the family at the Indian River Marina! Adults will enjoy relaxing beside the water at the Indian River Marina Café. Hook ‘Em & Cook ‘Em will be serving up delicious seafood platters, and a number of artists will be on hand, displaying and discussing their works.  Indian River Marina Delaware Seashore State Park, July 30th, 10 a.m.
