Jobs Expansion
Governor Jack Markell’s office is out today with news that should make Sussex County happy.
For the second time in three weeks the Governor is announcing the creation of jobs in the county. The Governor and his Secretary for Economic Development, Alan Levin will be in Seaford at 10:30 tomorrow to announce new jobs coming to the county.
On November 4th the Governor announced Mountainaire Chicken was expanding their processing facility. The $34.5million expansion will include 2,000 construction jobs. When the project is completed there will be 31 new jobs.
The Tuesday announcement will take place at 414 High Street. Look to Newsworks Delaware for word on this jobs announcement.
