I-295 reopens after fiery crash that killed 1

Interstate 295 has reopened in southern New Jersey after a deadly crash involving a box truck.

Authorities say it happened at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday along a stretch of I-295 in Burlington County. Police say the truck crashed and burst into flames near the Route 73 overpass in Mount Laurel, killing one person.

The accident shut down I-295 in both directions as authorities investigated. The lanes opened back up early Monday morning.

    Police haven’t identified the victim.
