How much lead is hiding in Philly’s former industrial neighborhoods?

The construction boom in the so-called “river wards,” once Philadelphia’s industrial hub, has unleashed a “lurking monster: toxic lead dust.” That’s one of the findings in the The Philadelphia Daily News’ latest story in its “Toxic City” series.
