Gloucester County event offers free fans for seniors
Mark your calendars, seniors. Assuming we don’t all melt this week when temps climb well above 90 this week, Gloucester County’s annual “Keep Cool” event is next week. County seniors can get free fans from twp pick-up locations June 15.
10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Glassboro Senior Center located at 152 S. Delsea Drive in Glassboro
1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Gloucester County Senior Services Offices at Budd Boulevard located at 115 Budd Blvd. in West Deptford
The Gloucester County Times reports more than 2,250 fans have been distributed since the event’s 2000 inception, with the help of the Division of Senior Services.
Priority will be given to those 60 and older, and with low income or a Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled or Medicaid card.
