Fugitive wanted on 64 counts of rape
Delaware State Police are asking for your help locating fugitive Lorne Kennedy.
State Police say arrest warrants for Kennedy cover 64 counts of Rape Fourth Degree and one count each of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
An investigation into the 38-year-old began in January of this year, following allegations Kennedy was involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 14-year-old Sussex County girl from July 2008 through May of last year. During the course of the investigation, detectives say they discovered Kennedy and the teen forged a 21 month-long relationship shortly after the victim turned 14.
Police say Kennedy has ties to Sussex County Delaware as well as Federalsburg, Maryland.
So far, attempts to locate Lorne Kennedy have been unsuccessful.
